AI-powered Learning Platform

Learning from a wiser perspective, guided by AI

Owlia helps teachers generate quality questions and quizzes, while guiding students with hints, reflective feedback and learning reports — from answering questions to truly understanding them.

✍️

Create questions faster

Generate questions, hints and marking schemes based on subject, level, question type and learning objectives.

💡

Guide students, not just answer them

Students can get hints or ask AI questions, but the AI guides them through thinking instead of giving direct answers.

📊

Turn results into teaching insight

Learning records become reports, helping teachers understand ability levels and plan more suitable follow-up practice.

Core Features

From question generation to self-directed learning

Owlia is designed in a teacher-friendly way, turning AI into a practical assistant for quizzes, practice, marking and feedback.

🧠

AI question generation

Teachers can generate questions by subject, level, learning goals and question type, with built-in hints, answers and marking schemes.

📝

Quiz creation

Questions can be organised into quizzes for students to complete online, making assignment and progress management easier.

🤝

Guided AI support

Students can receive hints or ask the AI questions. The AI responds with prompts, questions and step-by-step guidance.

Marking and feedback

Objective questions can be marked automatically, while open-ended questions support partial marking and teacher comments.

Multiple question types

Owlia supports different learning stages, from visual expression in primary years to written analysis in higher levels.

MCQTrue / FalseMatchOrderingShort QuestionEssayDrawing

MCQ, T/F, Match and Ordering can be marked automatically. Short Question, Essay and Drawing can support partial marking. Drawing is especially useful for younger students using iPads, allowing them to answer with drawings, selection or visual expression when typing is still difficult.

Guided Learning

AI guides students instead of giving direct answers

Owlia is not designed for students to copy answers faster. It helps them keep thinking when they get stuck, using suitable hints and guiding questions.

  • Hints help students find the next step without revealing the answer.
  • Guiding questions encourage students to recall concepts, check conditions and reorganise their thinking.
  • After submission, students see not only the correct answer, but also why wrong answers are wrong.
  • Reverse-thinking explanations help students learn from mistakes and build real understanding.
Learning Loop

Create a closed loop for teaching and learning

From teacher goals, to student practice, and back to better teaching decisions.

1

Teachers create quizzes

Generate quizzes with learning goals, hints and marking schemes.

2

Students practise

Students answer questions with hints and AI guidance when they need support.

3

Marking and feedback

The system marks objective questions, while teachers can review, comment and explain.

4

Reports improve teaching

Performance reports help teachers identify ability gaps and generate better follow-up practice.

For Teachers

Support students of different ability levels

  • Create practice with different question types and difficulty levels.
  • Use marking schemes to keep question scope clear.
  • Identify weaknesses through reports and support differentiated teaching.
  • Spend less time on repetitive quiz creation, marking and feedback.
For Students

Support learning beyond the classroom

  • Students can get hints when they are stuck.
  • The AI guides thinking instead of encouraging direct answer dependence.
  • Students understand mistakes through reverse-thinking explanations.
  • They gradually build self-learning and self-correction habits.
Deployment

Cloud or local deployment, depending on school needs

Owlia can be deployed in the cloud or locally, depending on the needs of schools and learning centres. This supports flexible access control, student practice management and learning records.

Brand Story

Like an owl, Owlia supports students in quiet learning moments

The owl symbolises wisdom and observation. As an owl sees clearly at night, Owlia represents learning support beyond the classroom, especially when students are studying on their own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about Owlia

Answers to common questions from schools, teachers and educational organisations considering the platform.

There are already many specialised AI tools available for generating images, videos, presentations and other teaching materials.

Owlia is not designed to be another general-purpose content generation platform. Its core purpose is to create a complete closed-loop learning system. It helps teachers generate questions and quizzes based on their teaching objectives and materials, provides students with appropriate hints and guided support during practice, analyses their strengths, weaknesses and common mistakes, and then generates targeted follow-up exercises.

In other words, Owlia does more than help teachers create learning content. It helps them understand whether students have genuinely mastered the knowledge by connecting question generation, practice, guidance, assessment, analysis and follow-up learning into one continuous improvement cycle.

Owlia is designed for primary and secondary schools. It helps teachers create exercises for different subjects and ability levels while providing students with guided learning support.

The platform mainly supports Chinese, English and Mathematics. Because questions can be generated using different large language models, Owlia is not restricted to these subjects and can be extended according to teaching needs. Supported question types include multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, matching, ordering, short answer, essay and drawing questions.

Yes. In the full version, teachers can upload their own teaching materials and ask AI to generate questions based on the content, selected scope and learning objectives, helping the exercises align more closely with the school's curriculum and teaching progress.

No. Owlia is designed to support learning rather than complete the work for students. Giving the answer directly would reduce opportunities for learning and independent thinking. Teachers can define the guidance scope when creating a question, and the AI will use hints, follow-up questions and step-by-step guidance within that scope to help students find their own direction.

Multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, true-or-false, matching and ordering questions can be graded automatically. Open-ended question types such as short answer, essay and drawing can use AI-assisted suggestions together with teacher assessment, allowing the teacher to retain the final judgement.

After students complete exercises and receive scores, the platform can generate follow-up practice based on their results and performance, helping to strengthen weaker learning areas. Teacher participation remains important: teachers can review and adjust the exercises to ensure that they match each student's actual needs and the intended learning objectives.

Student data and teaching materials from each school are stored separately and are not shared with other schools. Schools with specific data management, privacy or IT requirements may also choose an on-premises deployment that operates within the school's own environment.
